Renovation of Houses

The whole of Chikmagalur District was in tears on 2019 August 9th as the floods ruined the lives of many poor people. CMSSS took great adventure through its partners to successfully renovate and repair 151 houses and still new houses are under construction. CMSSS was happy to inaugurate the house On 3rd of June at Josephnagara (Hassan district) officially it was inaugurated by Director, Designate director of CMSSS and Parish priest of Josephnagara.

Thanks to the donors of the Arch diocese of Bangalore and Caritas India.

Food kit Distribution

CMSSS in collaboration with Caritas India and Azim premji Foundation distributed food kits and brought Awareness to the people on Covid-19.

During this Lockdown period, the CMSSS staffs gave awareness on Covid-19 to SHG members, PWDs and their dependents.

We are one with People during this Covid-19.

CMSSS in collaboration with proVISION Asia, Bangalore conducted a screening program of children and young adults with disabilities.
50 children received customized wheelchairs.

It was a unique program with playgroups, activities, screening and wheelchair modification and one on one counseling with the parents and children.

Training on Child Rights, Trafficking and Child Abuse held at Nirmala Higher Primary School & Nirmala High School, Dasapura under Empowerment of Adolescent Girls Program.

79 girls and 2 teachers took part along with Resource person Mrs. Victoria, the program Manager, children were actively participated in this program and an awareness is created in them
